The red-and-white newspaper box once held editions of the Frederick News-Post, a local newspaper for a northern Maryland county of the same name.

Now 650 miles away, the box resides in a garden on the southeast corner of Calumet Avenue and 51st Street. It bears a fresh coat of paint, and inside its contents range from Bulls T-shirts to applesauce cups.
